You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!

I quit sinmkog on 3/6/03 and have not had one since and not much of an urge to have one. How did I do it? Believe it or not I went to one of those hoaky stop sinmkog hypnosis seminars and it worked!! I didn’t think it would work but it did. I had really no withdrawl symptoms and the only problem I had was breaking the habit of reaching for them subconsciously which I did a LOT! It’s funny what we teach the brain to do we don’t even realize how many times we reach for the cigarettes out of habit rather than want. Nicotine withdrawls are minimal not more than two weeks; it’s the habit that is the perverbial monkey-on-your-back. Stop reaching for them do something else when that happens, change your habits like where you drink your morning coffee or get up from the table right after eating and redirect your attention to something other than having the pantented cigarette after dinner like we all do/did. And when you find your brain saying have a cigarette you need to tell it NO very firmly and remember why you decided to quit in the first place and the fact that you really don’t want to start the quit process all over again at a later time. It’s right now you must focus on right now is when you take charge of your life and you decide what you do to your body. I would remind myself constantly of the three R’s: Respect for self; Respect for others; Responsibility for my own actions. And I got through it. So can you!
